Chocolate Chess

The design of the Chocolate chess is based on an old Croatian legend.

The legend tells of a Croatian king who played chess with an Italian king. By winning all three games of chess he won his freedom and Dalmatian islands. Out of gratitude and as a memory on that victory he took the chessboard to be Croatian coat of arms. The coat of arms has remained to this day.

In this chocolate version, at the end of the game players can eat winning chocolate figures. And the winner gets the remaining pieces from the board.
